Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a recent college grad or an early career candidate for our Project Specialist opportunity. He/she will assist and support assigned projects from start to finish. Responsible for tracking project deliverables, dates and monitoring deadlines; provide regular and timely updates highlighting variances as they arise. Support the Architectural & Engineering Department with assigned projects including any of the following as assigned: project tracking, correspondence, and various administrative tasks.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Expected compensation includes 40-50,000 and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual’s education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Complete and return work in a timely manner.
- Communication with clients, vendors and team members in a timely manner.
- Reach out to utility providers to set up accounts.
- Work with utility providers to coordinate the successful completion of new utility service.
- Communicate with Project Managers and Team Leads to assist in coordination as needed.
- Support Project Managers with the creation and close out of project.s
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and services, and participate in their implementation.
- Help maintain and manage documents flow between client and project manager.
- Communicate issues as they arise to clients, team members and other parties involved.
- Miscellaneous tasks to assist Directors, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Designer.
- Perform a wide variety of administrative duties as required to support successful project completion.
What You Will Need
- Self-motivated, driven, reliable and good communication skills required.
- Higher education and certifications or training preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Adobe, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Ability to multitask and learn new information quickly and effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Self-starter with desire and ability to learn and retain knowledge.
- Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise adaptability in new situations.
- Highly organized and detail orientated.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent typing and data entry skills.
- Time management skills; must be able to meet deadlines.
