The Human Resource Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Coordinator will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities helping plan and administer important functions, such as compliance, benefit administration, leave management, employee engagement, training and development, onboarding new team members and employee relations. This is a hybrid role with office, field and at home work required.

The Human Resource Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Coordinator will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities helping plan and administer important functions, such as compliance, benefit administration, leave management, employee engagement, training and development, onboarding new team members and employee relations. This is a hybrid role with office, field and at home work required.
- Makes recommendations and implements new programs and resources needed to enhance employee engagement
- Handles administrative tasks for the entire employee lifecycle, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
- Administer compliance tasks including but not limited to OSHA, EEO, and ACA reporting
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
What you'll bring to the team…
- The role primarily reports to the Vice President of Human Resources in our Southfield World Headquarters (1-2 days per week), Wash Locations (1-2 days per week)
- High energy, self-confident and enthusiastic
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Confidence interacting with the team along with the self-awareness to ask for help/escalate issues that require additional assistance and/or attention.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

- Successful record of managing multiple tasks that require high level of detail orientation, organization and time management skills.
What we require you have…
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related degree or relevant equivalent work experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience within Human Resources or serving as the direct point-of-contact for a large multi-site, or regional workforce
