Position Summary
The Center Director role plans, coordinates and directs the total administrative and programmatic activities of the Center.
Essential Functions
Qualifications and Experience Minimum
Bachelor's degree in business, management, education, behavioral science, or associated field. Five years’ experience working with youth and in program administration and direction. Ability to provide leadership, counsel, motivation, and constructive performance feedback in accordance with program goals. Knowledge of effective contract administration. Information technology proficiency including MS Office. Willingness to provide on-call support.
Preferred
Master’s degree and eight years’ experience working with youth and in program administration.

Position Summary
The Center Director role plans, coordinates and directs the total administrative and programmatic activities of the Center.
Essential Functions
- Maintain the highest level of safety and security through adherence to DOL and Strategix requirements, and local law enforcement.
- Maintain accountability of staff, students, and property at all times.
- Coordinate with Strategix corporate personnel, subcontractors, national training contractors, and DOL to ensure efficient operations, quality services, and contract compliance, including audits and reviews.
- Establish Center plans, programs, goals, and objectives to ensure achievement through management controls.
- Establish business, community, and civic partnerships to expand training and placement opportunities, promote a positive program image, and contribute to a comprehensive local workforce development system.
- Direct programmatic efforts to ensure obtainment of option years and contract retention or expanded Center business and coordinate with the Strategix corporate office on proposal preparation, negotiation, and contractual modification activities.
- Recommend and execute final decisions on contract, budget, organization, programs, and administrative matters in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and implement organizational and personnel actions in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain communication with the student body via the Student Government Association and involve in Center management through ongoing meetings.
- Provide control of Center reports, policies, procedures, staff travel, student separations, disclosure of information, equipment, and facilities.
- Provide on-support as warranted.
- Utilize information systems and handle student data in strict adherence to Job Corps and Strategix policies to protect student’s personally identifiable information (PII) and reduce network security threats.
