Intern - Data Analytics (Claims)

In this role, you will…

• Maintain the Defense Panel list for Claims division.
• Prepare monthly updates of the Defense Panel Scorecard.
• Prepare the monthly Claims optimization presentation.
• Work directly with Divisional Claim managers to ensure optimization of operational metrics.
• Update and analyze indemnity reserves quarterly.
• Assist in preparation of monthly International Claims and Premium files.
• Assist with ad hoc claim audits.
• Take on other projects as assigned.
• Participate in company and community activities.
  
  
  

We are looking for candidates with…

• Active enrollment in an Analytics, Finance or Accounting Bachelor’s degree program with at least one year remaining.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Insurance knowledge helpful but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
• Strong skills in Microsoft office, especially Excel
• Year-round availability: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 25-30 hours/week during the summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
