In SAP technology at PwC, you will specialise in utilising and managing SAP software and solutions within an organisation. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies

Demonstrating extensive-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Exemplifying extensive abilities and a proven record of success as an SAP Application Development lead/architect with at least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects on-premises and Cloud edition;

  • Leading SAP development teams from project inception to completion, including design, development, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices;

  • Defining technical architecture and design patterns for SAP custom developments, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and future scalability;

  • Collaborating with functional SAP teams and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust and efficient technical solutions;

  • Overseeing the design and implementation of custom development solutions using SAP ABAP and RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms);

  • Driving adoption of SAP Clean Core methodologies to ensure scalable, sustainable, and upgrade-friendly customizations;

  • Developing and managing solutions using BTP-ABAP, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model), and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model);

  • Integrating solutions across SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, ensuring smooth business process workflows and technical consistency;

  • Utilizing modern SAP development tools including ABAP Workbench, Web Dynpro, Object-Oriented Programming, and Fiori/UI5 frameworks for user-centric applications;

  • Identifying areas for optimization—performance tuning, code refactoring, and streamlining of development processes;

  • Working closely with project managers to estimate development efforts, identify risks, and provide status updates;

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with infrastructure teams, business analysts, and testing teams to deliver on-time, on-budget projects that meet or exceed expectations;

  • Proactively identifying and resolving complex technical challenges, ensuring optimal system performance and seamless end-to-end functionality;

  • Communicating complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging gaps and driving collaboration across teams;

  • Mentoring and guiding development teams, fostering a collaborative, positive, and growth-oriented work environment while managing workloads and maintaining work-life balance;

  • Staying updated with the latest SAP trends, technologies, and cloud innovations, incorporating cutting-edge solutions to support business transformation initiatives; and,

  • Contributing to the organization’s SAP Technology Practice by building expertise, thought leadership, and innovative solutions to expand offerings and deliver client value.

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
