Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist compiles and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties; processing check requests, purchase orders, ensures adherence to applicable policies and procedures. Checks and approves invoices for payment. Analyzes vendor accounts and answers vendors inquiries, prepares accounts payable checks, prints accounts payable reports, and maintains accounts payable files.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

License:

Required:

• Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

Required:

• Two years working experience in accounts payable.
• At least one year typing and filing experience.
• Three years experience in computer applications (MS) and data entry.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Salary: $23.25 an hour.
