Job Description
Working without supervision, level four quality technicians perform quality inspection tasks of levels of complexity, as well as demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills and deep product knowledge. Level four quality technicians provide insight into developing inspection processes for new work as well as leadership and training to all levels within the quality department as well as operations. This position calls upon advanced knowledge of shop math, print reading, and quality reporting.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Provide leadership and training to quality and operations employees
- Provide leadership in advanced trouble shooting
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Certified in Installation Tooling Inspection
- Performs Trouble shooting on Test Machines
- Program Keyence and able to trouble shoot
- Coordinator for Quality Department
- Ensures tools / equipment meet standard and calibration requirements.
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Advanced Trouble Shooting Skills
- Advanced Shop Math
- Advanced Print Reading
- Deep knowledge of Product & Customer Specification
- The ability to use complex gauges
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - computer skills
- Mechanical Testing experience (shear, tension, spindle retention etc)
- Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as business needs demand
Experience & Education
- Typically 5+ Years of Experience
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
