Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the companys compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Provide legal guidance on employment law, data protection, and corporate governance.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise the management team on potential impacts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure internal policies and procedures comply with legal standards.
- Handle any legal disputes, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and training programs for employees.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Familiarity with employment law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- $60,000 to $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
