Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Product Line/Development Manager to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management from ideation to launch, particularly within the renewable energy sector, and will support our initiative to expand and develop new products and enhancements to existing offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for market trends, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams. The Product Development Manager will also be responsible for coordinating Sol-Up's attendance and setup trade shows to proudly showcase our product lines. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are developed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Innovation:
- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure product feasibility, alignment with market needs, and successful product launches.
- Act as the primary liaison between various departments to facilitate smooth product development processes.
- Lead product development projects from concept through to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, report on metrics, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, development, launch, and post-launch performance evaluation.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and address customer feedback.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management and external partners, to update on product development progress and receive input.
- Prepare and present product proposals and updates to executive leadership.
- Plan, organize, and execute trade show events to promote the company's products and services.
- Ensure brand consistency across all trade show materials and displays.
- Analyze trade show results, including lead generation, ROI, and overall performance.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and standards affecting solar products and ensure compliance throughout the development process.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to navigate any regulatory challenges.
- Use designated system applications to manage various aspects of the job (Google Workspace, Mac OS, CRMs)
- Demonstrate a pleasant and professional disposition with each customer and employee.
- Represent Sol-Up and our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passion.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product development or product management, preferably in the renewable energy or tech sectors.
- Preferred strong understanding of clean energy technology and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of managing successful product launches and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in product management software and tools.
- MacOS and Google Workspace apps experience required.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and balance tasks.
- Must have reliable attendance and transportation to the office, may be asked to occasionally travel to other work site locations to fulfill role responsibilities.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to:
- Lift or carry up to 30 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
- Physically access all areas of the office with or without a reasonable accommodation.
