Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Associate Product Manager, Surgery to support our MedTech surgery business. This position is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. For the ideal candidate, remote opportunities will be considered.

Position Summary

This key commercial leadership position plays a pivotal role on cross-functional teams comprised of marketing, sales, finance, regulatory, clinical, prof ed, and supply chain among others. This individual will collaborate with global marketing partners on new product launch preparation and provide Canadian insights to the global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading product portfolio operations and managing marketing assets.
  • Conduct product forecasting and demand planning, including quality and supply management.
  • Provide support to the marketing team, assist field sales with product-related inquiries, and support tender submissions.
  • Facilitate communication regarding product updates and initiatives, via written and verbal communications, and presentations.
  • Research and analyze market trends to inform product strategy, track key data metrics for performance assessment.
  • Coordinate commercial events and participate as a regional partner in the global marketing team.
  • Coach more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a university/bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Health Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA is an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in marketing and/or sales is required.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related industry is an asset.
  • Strong collaboration and teaming skills with a variety of different cross-functional areas, and ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Must be proactive and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, provide creative solutions to complex problems, implement those solutions efficiently and effectively with a high degree of organization.
  • Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal); must be comfortable presenting in front of small groups and speaking in public.
  • Up to 20% business travel may be required.
