Duties
As a Program Management Officer, you will:
- Serve as a principal advisor to the Legislative Archives, Presidential Libraries, and Museum Services (L) Executive; the Office of Presidential Libraries (LP) Director; and other officials on Presidential Library programs and serves as a visible representative of the National Archives and Records Administration.
- Assist the LP-RR Director in directing programs through subordinate supervisors to a wide range of users (scholars, public officials, general public, etc.).
- Assure compliance with federal laws , regulation s, and obligation s relating to overall library administration, museum programs and the Archival programs of LP.
- Oversee the development, justification, and presentation of LP-RR budgets and determines need for additional financial and personnel resources.
- Maintain close and cordial working relations with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute , its Board members and other support organizations to secure their advice, counsel, and support in developing the facilities and services of the library and museum.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
- Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
- File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
- Designated and/or Random Drug Testing may be required.
