Location: Oahu

Collaborates with: Director of Administration, Director of
Fundraising and Strategic Communications,
Board of Directors, Executive Director, Workforce Development ProgramManager

Supervises: ProgramManagers, Department Leads, and Equipment Manager

Job Purpose: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the organization, ensuring that the organization is
managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establish quantitative and qualitative guidelines and standards by which the organization's
efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated.
  • Collaborate with ProgramManagers to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate operational procedures.
  • Implement policies and procedures that will improve daily operations.
  • Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
  • Oversee Deconstruction, Redistribution, and Hawaii Island operations, ensuring each is reaching
goals set by departmental and executive leadership.
  • Work in conjunction with Workforce Development, Volunteer Coordinator & Equipment Manager
within their respective roles.
  • Work with the Director of Administration to plan, evaluate, monitor, and forecast revenues and
expenses in each department to achieve the organization’s financial goals.
  • Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes,
meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
  • Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and

customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business
processes.

  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A thorough understanding and knowledge of organization’s systems, practices, policies, and

operations.
  • High proficiency in Mac OS computers and Google Workspace applications.
  • Ability to direct and manage all aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to move projects forward.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and values of organization to the public and company

contacts.

  • Demonstrate sincere enthusiasm for diverting C&D for reuse to benefit the environment and
community.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals of diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate grace and humor under pressure.

Compensation, benefits, and resources:
Annual Salary of $55,000 (paychecks weekly)
  • Performance bonus - 10% of monthly salary if goals are met
  • Paid vacation and sick time (accrued)
